great camera for shallow depth of field, like a Canon 5D in a video box, XLR inputs available with ad on handle, Sony f2.8 lenses are great, also works with Canon lenses with an adapter but no control over aperture
Expensive because of quality. Not a normal family video unit.
Because of the size and style of this little beauty,
anyone could believe that it's a regular family video
unit. It is not, because this one won't be focusing and
changing in an automatic and permanent way the subject
while you are filming. This unit looks nice and it's nice,
but if you are looking for a regular family one, it is not
for you and it is very expensive. And there is a reason:
Quality, unless you want that in your videos. But watch it,
it won't be changing focus automatically and following your
subject. Beside, when you buy it you just get the body and
then you have to pay for the lens which are almost the same,
if you want a good image. This one with the sony's lens will be
only following and focusing, if you use it like a regular photo
camera. This video unit is like a pro Video Camera: First
you have to go all the way in zooming, focus the subject,
and then film. If you don't have the experience...
